Happy Monday! Thanks for being here for Make A Difference Mondays, a place to get intentional about starting our weeks focused on the positive and put our heads together to dream up ways we can make a difference in this world!
Hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend! It was a super full and busy one here. But in a good way 🙂 Time is limited, so on that note, I am taking it back to the basics this week. I know one of my highest priorities needs to be catching up on cards I really want and need to send out. I have many I’d like to send to various people for various reasons, but when life gets busy, this type of thing is so easy to let fall by the wayside.
First things first is so trite, but true. That’s where I’m at right this moment – so I’m challenging myself, and I’m challenging YOU. Let’s act on the smaller, but just as important opportunities we have to make a difference in the lives of people who we’d like to encourage this week.
Do you have a card to send to someone who could really use some cheer? Sometimes it makes all the difference just to know we are not forgotten and someone cares! If you plan to reach out to someone via snail mail this week, or if you have other plans to make a difference in someone’s life, would you take just a moment to let me know in the comments? Always love to hear your thoughts!
Make A Difference Mondays is a weekly linkup designed to encourage and inspire us to live each day on purpose—making a meaningful difference in someone’s life in even the smallest of ways. There will be five women regularly co-hosting this link-up that will appear on all five of our blogs and we also have three wonderful co-hosts who will fill in as guest hosts on the occasional day that a regular co-host is not able to post. Read on to learn more about our vision, mission, and how to link up!
Mission
Our mission is to provide a consistent gathering place for like-minded women to build online connections, share inspiration, and provide mutual encouragement and accountability as we seek to live intentionally and make a difference in the lives of those around us.
Vision
Every Monday we will invite bloggers to link-up any blog posts that encourage women to live life on purpose. This could include testimonies or goals from your own life, small acts of kindness or service, creative tips or ideas for showing consideration to others — the possibilities are endless. Our objective is to use our God-given time and resources to His glory!
Also, just a heads-up: the Make A Difference Mondays team has created two fun new ways to keep us all connected! Now we have our own facebook community group to stay in touch beyond the blog posts AND we also have a new #MADMlinkup group Pinterest board! We will be pinning our favorite posts from the linkup that inspire and encourage us to make a difference. We are so grateful for you and would love for all of you to join us for fellowship in the above linked community group and you can follow the Pinterest board right here to watch for your posts: Make A Difference Mondays Pinterest Board
Be sure to grab the sparkly image above or grab the same image in the square version from the sidebar for your posts and/or include a link back here within your posts. Any on-topic posts are welcomed, no matter how old and no matter how many!

Thank you for the encouragement to work on the “small things!” Little things make such a difference!
Since you asked us to share (and not to toot my horn), we were just planning earlier to go visit a family who recently had their little girl in hospital and take them a surprise for their three children. We don’t do enough of this kind of stuff as a family. I want to do so much more!
I love this! You just made me smile & warmed my heart : ) I so appreciate when y’all share because then the rest of us can find ideas we may not have thought of. I know I also often find that extra push toward accountability, and I feel that much more that we’re all in this together. I’m always so inspired and encouraged by the women who visit this linkup! Seriously, thank you so much for sharing your idea – I love that you are planning to support and encourage the three oldest kids in such a tangible, intentional way : ) It really is the little things that can make all the difference! Happy Monday, hope you have a great week!
Ha ha, no worries! Thank you again for your encouragement, it’s wonderful to be encouraged by like-minded people. I totally don’t do enough of this kind of thing. It is so easy to get caught up in life and forget about the people around me! 🙂
By the way, is it just me, or is everyone having trouble viewing any other links? I can’t see any other person’s links on this page.
Oh it’s not just you – sometimes that happens for some reason… (who knows why?) but if you click either “add your link” OR where it says “an InLinkz linkup” you should be able to see all the other blog posts linked together in the linkup! Let me know if you still have any trouble : ) And/or have you joined our MADM facebook community yet? Sometimes people share their links there as well! Thanks again for being here!!
Hi Sybil,

Michelle here from Considering Grace, just new on the scene. Thanks for having me here! Blessings!
Hi Michelle, great to have you here at She Lives Free! Hope to see you again soon! Wishing you blessings too : )
Hello! You found my site through the Currently link-up and your comment brought me here. I decided to comment on this post instead of your currently post, though, because I LOVE sending cards to people! I thought I was the only one! I could probably spend all day in a greeting card store, not to mention spend all my money! I love finding cards of encouragement or just sending a note to say hi.
Love that!! Thanks for sharing Tiffany!! : )
