I love that you highlighted gratitude. It is so important. We’ve done gratitude postcards in the past and they’ve been a huge hit on the blog: http://jennifischer.blogspot.com/2012/11/making-gratitude-daily-practice.html
Thanks Jennifer! Looks like an excellent post – I’ll be sure to check it out and feel free to share with the make a difference mondays community, if you’d like – It’d be perfect!! 🙂
Thank you soooo much for this. Perfect timing. I was just looking for major thankfulness and gratitude activities. We are doing the handprint trees tomorrow, and I canNOT wait to start the gratitude journal. It literally made me tear up. What a special keepsake.
Love this feedback!! Thanks so much for letting me know 🙂
I actually collect rocks at the beach with my children and we paint little messages too. With $500 dollars I would use that to spend the night at the Jersey Shore with my family.
Awesome!! 🙂
This is such a great roundup of Thankfulness posts! Thanks so much for sharing it.

I love these ideas. I will have to share this. From BOTS Group.
Thanks so much Sarah!
Love all the ideas!
Thank you Jenny!
What a lovely reminder to remain grateful in all that we do. Often times, it’s just the little things that can remind us of the need to share gratitude with the kiddos.
What great ideas!! I need to incorporate some of them into our family’s holiday time. I spent an entire series on fall foods, and everything else kind of got pushed to the back burner. Well… I guess we did take some of those goodies around to our neighbors. That was such a cool experience for my almost-4-year-old! Instilled in him a sense of community and a desire to do it again, which I LOVED.
