So I have an awesome surprise for you today! My little girl is pretty much a tech wizard (like her Daddy) and lately she’s been teaching herself everything from computer programming and coding to how to work video editing programs like iMovie and Camtasia. So today I bring you a super sophisticated ( 😉 😉 ) iMovie tutorial, courtesy of my Emma! This is our first, but keep a lookout for many more blogging, vlogging, and photo/video editing tutorials to come in the future!
Many of you likely know by now I have two girls, one of whom prefers to be on camera much more than the other. I’ll let you guess which one you’re about to see! Yep, our tech wizard is also our little ham!
With iMovie, you can create a movie or trailer on your Mac, iPhone, or iPad and watch it anywhere. Thanks to iCloud, your iMovie Theater is kept up to date across them all — automatically. Ok, really? That’s about all I know. I’ll let Emma explain the rest 😉
Here is Emma’s completed creation. Hilariously, Emma decided to title it: She Lives Free dance party! 🙂
Editors note: Though there were purposely some shots in the dark, apparently this video file was condensed one too many times and ended up even darker than before. Bummer you might not make out some of her dance moves so well now. Ha.
And just because it’s Halloween week, here’s a bonus video just to be sure you’re properly inspired by the full range of effects, audio, and visuals of all you can create through iMovie. Yes, even ultra creepy craziness like this:
Have you ever worked with iMovie? What did you think of my girl’s first foray into video editing & producing? I found it rather wacky, wild, and wonderful – if I do say so myself. Hey, she comes by all that silliness naturally – that’s just how we roll around here 🙂
Whoa! You go girl! Steven Spielberg better look over his shoulder ‘ cause you’re hot on his heels.
🙂 🙂
This was hilarious!! Great job Emma! Super creepy when you put your hands on your face and then roared haha. Made ME jump!
Haha I know, right?!
So, SO cute! I love that last video! You can definitely tell she is destined for stardom! 🙂
Haha yep she’s definitely one of a kind 😉
Thanks for the post! I am branching into YouTube videos and this is really helpful. My husband edits for a living, but at home we only have iMovie to edit on. (visiting from We are That Family)
That’s awesome, Karissa! For me – I need all the help I can get, so I’m glad I’ve got my Emma to help me out 😉
