Here is a homemade origami gift box! This post will be the first in a series of homemade gifts for the holidays, (showcasing ideas for gifts that can actually be given any time of year) – So be sure to pin these ideas to come back to again and again throughout the year 🙂
We’ll be starting with some gift giving ideas for kids, by kids! My little origami lover put together two tutorial videos to inspire you to introduce your own kids to origami. It’s easy, fun, and educational!
Below Emma demonstrates an origami Christmas gift idea. These boxes can be the gift themselves OR a festive box to contain small gifts for kids to give. They are kid-tested, grandparent approved 😉 Emma has already given out a few of these origami boxes she whipped up and every recipient was so taken with her ingenuity and clever creativity!
There are also resources linked at the bottom of this post for getting started with origami for kids (or kids at heart) of all ages!
To learn how to use one of the tools Emma uses to make videos like these, check out this iMovie Tutorial
So talk to me – Do you or your kids enjoy origami? Are you ready to give origami gift ideas a try? Happy crafting!
