Hey y’all.  So life happened this week 😉  To be honest, I’ve been a busy girl with all things blogging, life, and setting up a Young Living business … so my post today will be a bit short and sweet.

Just a little new year’s make a difference themed bucket list of sorts  🙂  Last year, I wrote a personal bucket list for 2014 and while I love the intentionality the practice inspires, this year I just wasn’t feeling it at first.  I thought maybe that was because I started using Power Sheets for the first time this year to track my goals and plans.  But I ultimately realized the Lord was simply laying it on my heart that this year’s bucket list was to be less self-focused and more others-focused than the previous year.

If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen I posted about this there a few days ago.  Once in awhile I’ll jump in with the #fridayintroductions community and this week, we were asked what goal or one word for the year we have chosen.

Last year I chose the word free for 2014 – that’s right, the She Lives Free lady chose to focus on the word free  😉  I’d been praying about it the first few days of 2015 and then I realized that more than anything else, the Lord has laid on my heart to love BIG this year. I’m talking bigger and better than before. So my word/phrase and my goal this year is to live life showering those around me with BIG LOVE. I can’t wait to explore all that that means but for now it looks like this the most: I want to not only make Jesus famous through my words and actions, I want to celebrate the people in my life for their extraordinary gifts they’ve been blessed with – those gifts they can use to make Jesus famous too, I want to be BRAVE and write & speak from my super sappy heart (the one I often wear on my sleeve), I want to play with my kids more, I want to give to each and every crowdfunding platform and fundraiser I encounter this year that represents the best of humanity – the people stepping out on faith to follow their dreams & make a difference in the world and those that were put in my path to remind me that those who’ve been given much have much to give away, I want to speak life over my friends and do life together wild & free – living life on purpose, oh and? So much more!

So that’s it – that makes up my 2015 bucket list and my word(s) for the year, all at once!  For more new thoughts for a new year, please visit Veronica Clarke’s Not 4 Naught this week.  Be sure to come back next week, as next Monday is Martin Luther King Day and I’ll be sharing some thoughts and ideas on the coinciding National Day of Service.

I’d love to hear what’s on your heart!  Have you chosen a goal(s) or word for the year?  If so what difference are you hoping it makes in your life and the lives of those around you?  If there is any way I can be praying for you or otherwise here for you in any way, please let me know in the comments.  Thanks loves!

Our mission is to provide a consistent gathering place for like-minded women to build online connections, share inspiration, and provide mutual encouragement and accountability as we seek to live intentionally and make a difference in the lives of those around us.

Vision
Every Monday we will invite bloggers to link up any blog post that encourages women to live life on purpose. Our objective is to use our God-given time and resources to His glory!

Also, just a heads-up: the Make A Difference Mondays team has created two fun new ways to keep us all connected! Now we have our own Facebook community group to stay in touch beyond the blog posts AND we also have a new #MADMlinkup group Pinterest board and we will be pinning our favorite posts from the linkup that inspire and encourage us to make a difference. We are so grateful for you and would love for all of you to join us for fellowship in the above linked community group and you can follow the Pinterest board right here to watch for your posts:
