I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Fashion Project. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation
Many of you all know how much I grew to love the sweet spirit and big heart of Kara Tippetts from Mundane Faithfulness. Some of you followed right along with me, as we watched her story unfold throughout her cancer battle. When she recently passed, I along with so many others was moved not only to tears – but to write, about how she changed my life in honor of her legacy.
Maybe you’ve read some other posts here on ways to support a cancer survivor, volunteering ideas, or tips to help others in crisis. One of the reasons I love this blogging community so much is the opportunity I’ve had to meet so many caring people with such huge hearts that are always in support of amazing opportunities to make a difference – in fact, that is the biggest reason I started my blog in the first place. Today it is my privilege to help raise awareness for the Fashion Project’s partnership with Look Good Feel Better.
As a true aesthetically oriented, lover of all things style and beauty, I was thrilled to learn about the Fashion Project and it’s commitment to charitable re-commerce. It’s an innovative, philanthropic destination that donates a portion of the net profits from every item sold to the donor’s charity of choice! I mean, really, how cool is that?
The Look Good Feel Better boutique on FashionProject.com features clothing and accessories that have been donated by members of the Look Good Feel Better andFashion Project communities, celebrities, and designers. The Look Good Feel Better program helps people with cancer address the appearance-related side effects of their treatment, through free workshops that include lessons on cosmetics, skin and nail care, wigs, turbans, accessories, and wardrobe. I love it!! To date, more than 850 items have been donated and more than $4,000 has been raised for Look Good Feel Better.
People are able to shop and donate like-new women’s designer clothing and accessories to the boutique from now until June 7. Since we just so happen to have plenty of items in need of re-homing I thought donating our items to the Look Good Feel Better Boutique would be the perfect, uber obvious solution!
Get social with the Fashion Project and Look Good Feel Better program, to stay up to date with all their latest & greatest – after all, it’s clear they’re doing amazing things and I know I for one can’t wait to see what they do next 🙂

Hope you’ll join us below for the Make A Difference Mondays linkup!
Make A Difference Mondays is a weekly linkup designed to encourage and inspire us to live each day on purpose by making a meaningful difference in someone’s life in even the smallest of ways. Read on to learn more about our vision, mission, and how to link up!
Mission
Our mission is to provide a consistent gathering place for like-minded women to build online connections, share inspiration, and provide mutual encouragement and accountability as we seek to live intentionally and make a difference in the lives of those around us.
Vision
Every Monday we will invite bloggers to link up any blog post that encourages women to live life on purpose. This could include testimonies or goals from your own life, small acts of kindness or service, creative tips or ideas for showing consideration to others — the possibilities are endless. Our objective is to use our God-given time and resources to His glory!
Also, just a heads-up: we have created two fun new ways to keep us all connected! Now we have our own Facebook community group to stay in touch beyond the blog posts AND we also have a new #MADMlinkup group Pinterest board and we will be pinning our favorite posts from the linkup that inspire and encourage us to make a difference. We are so grateful for you and would love for all of you to join us for fellowship in the above linked community group and you can follow the Pinterest board right here to watch for your posts:

That is great to hear! Thank you so much for that Chris!
love the idea and was so beautifully put forward by you!
Fashion as you may have already guessed is not a days job. It requires alot of patience and money in learning. Well I just wanted to say thank you for sharing these amazing tips. They definitely would be rare to find on the internet if not for you. It is indeed unique writting and I am happy I came across this.
This is an excellent perspective on things, and something people involved in fashion and design should look more closely at.
Nice post! I came across this shopping store online, T-Shop Style, while looking for trendy wears in reasonable prices. Highly recommended!
