The girl behind the blog

I write at She Lives Free because I love sharing my faith, DIY ideas, thoughts on marriage, parenting, home & garden, and my passion for giving & all things good! I enjoy writing for local magazines in my area, such as Miamisburg Life. I also write for national publications and websites such as The Huffington Post, Today Parenting Team, Lifehack.org, and Parade.com. I am a permanent contributor at women’s entrepreneurship site, The Well Studio and I occasionally contribute to other various blogs listed here.

I have recently started a new service initiative at She Lives Free, in partnership with other bloggers around the country called Make A Difference Mondays. Our mission is to provide a consistent gathering place for like-minded women to build online connections, share inspiration, and provide mutual encouragement and accountability as we seek to live intentionally and make a difference in the lives of those around us. Every Monday we invite bloggers to link-up any blog posts that encourage women to live life on purpose. This could include testimonies or goals from your own life, small acts of kindness, creative tips or ideas for showing consideration to others—the possibilities are endless.
Here are the first three volumes of Make A Difference Mondays for your review:

She Lives Free readers

I started blogging at She Lives Free in October 2013 to uplift and inspire women to be who they were created to be and to live life on purpose. Readers from all over the globe visit She Lives Free for encouraging, and refreshingly honest content presented in relatable ways. Readers regularly visit from around the world and across America. 97% of readers are women and I love connecting with and being able to influence women in every stage of life, from teens to grandmothers. Readers keep coming back to She Lives Free because of the focus on community and relationship building found at the blog. I strive to respond to every comment and email I ever receive from my readers, and their appreciation and respect shows! Pageviews last month totaled: 51,106 visitors but are growing each and every month!

What readers are saying:

“It not only reminded me that I need to slow down, but also reminded me that I need to draw closer to God, and lean on Him. Thank you so much for sharing! You’ve encouraged me today!” – Andrea Thorpe

“I love reading She Lives Free!!! It is really uplifting, inspirational and just so refreshingly honest. You are a VERY gifted writer Sybil” – Lisa Donauer

What brands are saying:

“Sybil produced one of the most engaged, and successful blog posts for one of our clients. I forwarded her blog post to the client founder personally. I am sure he loved it! She generated the most giveaway entries out of all 10 Influencers during her sponsorship. It was a pleasure working with her.” – Adam Wood, Adproval

Why work with She Lives Free?

The latest statistics show that blogs now control more than $2 trillion of purchasing power in the United States.”
“…blogs have become “big time” players in the business world”
“…and instead of companies looking to promote in the mainstream media, they’re courting bloggers to blog about them.”
“…clients are much more savvy and they recognize that an influencer has a lot more influence over somebody that wants to make purchase decisions, than an ad they read in the paper.
According to a survey by Brand Reputation, 84% of consumers said they were more likely to check online for reviews prior to making a purchase.

More than four in ten consumers use social media for word-of-mouth recommendations on brands and products. Seventy three percent feel they find trustworthy information about products and services through online communities focused on their specific interests such as parenting.

We keep our ads to a minimum because we don’t care for being bombarded with ads and we know that our readers feel the same. This means that when we put an advertisement on our site it means more and you don’t have to worry about getting lost in the crowd. This also ensures that our audience sees only things that are relevant and applicable to them, creating a better experience for them and more hits for you.
